| Janna Adams, husband Rick, their 13-year old son Jason, and 22-year old daughter Tiffany, live in Keller, Texas. Both Jan and Rick are in the computer industry. Son Jason is an upcoming young athlete and honor student. Tiffany is a nurse and mother to everyone's pride and joy - little Gavin. Jan had several surgeries, including two reconstructions. In addition, she underwent chemotherapy and radiation and is now doing great! Janna celebrates her 6th-year survivor anniversary this year! Jan offers special insight to the CBC family about the young women/career/cancer connection, since she is a young survivor. Judi Sparrow and her husband Jerry live in Bailey, Colorado. They retired from Texas in 2000 to live their dream in Lake Tahoe. Then after seven years there, they found another dream house in Bailey, Colorado on another beautiful hilltop. Judi is a positive, outspoken leader in the breast cancer community and a support group leader providing encourage- ment to all the lives she touches.This year Judi will celebrate her 7th year as a breast cancer survivor. Judi offers special insight to the CBC family about the mother/daughter cancer connection and patient support needs. Joy Becker lives in Hurst, Texas. She is a full-time paralegal. She is also an accomplished pianist and lyric writer, having written the lyrics to “I Want To Be Just Like You” and “Midnight Oil” (performed by Phillips, Craig & Dean) and "My Faith Stands” (performed by the Imperials.) In addition, she was a 1995 Dove Award nominee for inspirational song of the year. Joy (JoJo) gave birth to CBC during Judi and Jan’s cancer ordeals. Joy offers special insight to the CBC family for friends and relatives of loved ones facing cancer. |
