During Jan's chemo, a friend gave her a pink ribbon pin that another breast cancer survivor had
worn during their chemo treatment. Jan found it really special to know that she was wearing
something previously worn by someone who had walked in her shoes.
These special words are printed on the card with a pink ribbon pin attached - "This pink ribbon
pin was previously worn by another breast cancer survivor. The pin is being passed down to you
with the hope that this little expression of kindness will encourage and strengthen you in your
journey to health."
If you know of a breast cancer survivor, ask them if they wore a pink ribbon pin, and if so, send
the pin to us. We'll include one in each basket purchased for a breast cancer patient, along with
the special card as shown above (double-click on card to enlarge picture) telling about the project.
